Moe Mizell presenting the Junior Golden Gloves award to Martin Gold. Some have mentioned that the young man on the far left in this photo could be John F. Kennedy. What do you think? Please let us know in the comments below. (Photo courtesy of Adele Gold)

Not boxing, but another photo Adele Gold shared with us: Martin Gold and Palm Beach High class of 1939 classmates, left to right, Newell Brainard, Sam Hadley, Norman Griffin, Mizell Platt, Martin Gold, and Mike Testa.

Great photos and thanks for posting….those boys all probably went to war a few years after that photo was taken….The GREATEST Generation!
What a great picture. Newell , Sam and Mizelle were one grade ahead of me, however Martin, Mike
, Norman and I were in the same class attending Palm Beach Public in Palm Beach. Martin, Mike and I graduated from 9th grade in 1936 and were all in the class of 39. Of t hat group I think Sam and I are the only ones alive. Newell was lost in WW2, Martin and Mike died after the war .Newell and I double dated our high school sweeties and married them during WW2 . Great memories. Thank you.
